Kirsty Tallent
Associate Director

Kirsty Tallent is an Experiential Theatre Director and Practitioner from the East of England. Stylistically, her work is bold, fresh, messy, and relevant, with a core ethos of engaging minority audiences. Kirsty has worked in many of the East of England’s prominent theatre companies across a varied career beginning within creative learning, practitioner delivery which has progressed and developed into Directing
Kirsty is currently Creative Communities Coordinator (People & Place) for Eastern Angles Theatre Company and has had previous roles as Community Director (Red Rose Chain) and Storyteller in Residence at (Suffolk Libraires).
Currently Kirsty is in R&D for her new show BROWN BABIES which is part of her recently awarded a Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP) grant from Arts Council England. She will also Direct Eastern Angles 2025 Christmas production of TREASURE ISLAND.
Her work as a Director includes: The Green Children & Tour (Red Rose Chain), 1001 Fireflies (Red Rose Chain/Graeae), The Wizard of OZ (EACH), Life’s a Beach (DOG HOUSE), Owl & the pussy Cat R&D ( The Unicorn Theatre), The Sailors rest (Suffolk County Libraries), Brown Babies - (ACE supported DYCP)
Her work as Youth Theatre Director: The Blyth Hotel (Red Rose Chain), Hospital Radio (New Wolsey Theatre), Summer Connect (HighTide), The Girl That Cried Shuck (Eastern Angles).
